Innovative Solutions is a Professional Learning and Development consulting firm founded in 2001 and based in Chicago, Illinois.

Innovative Solutions has served a nationwide client base comprised of corporate, academic and non-for-profit organizations.

Innovative Solutions provides packaged learning programs but specializes in custom designed programs that address clients’ specific needs and objectives.

We support the development of human capital, capacity building and continuous growth and development with customized programs that take participants through a process of personal awareness and discovery, identification of development goals and personal action plan development.

  • Consult with client and assess present strengths, areas for development and program objectives and outcomes
  • Develop and/or customize learning programs that focus on accomplishment of client initiatives
  • Create customized participant handbooks to reflect concepts and skills presented

CONSULTANT STAFF

Staff of Innovative Solutions Consulting is comprised of 10 Associates/Consultants that are utilized as needed. The consultant team has extensive experience supporting professional development with customized program design and implementation that supports the mission and goals of large and small organizations. 


ELAINE ROBBINS HARRIS – PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT

Elaine Robbins Harris is the founder of Innovative Solutions Consulting.  She is a Professional Learning and Development Consultant, providing coaching, consulting and training services to a nationwide clientele in corporate, academic and not-for-profit sectors.

Elaine specializes in customized program design and implementation.  She has designed and delivered workshops and seminars with a focus on Servant Leadership, Management Skill Development, Coaching Skills, and College to Career programs.

She developed and implemented a series of Train-the-Trainer Programs for Inroads, Inc., used by Inroads training staff to prepare college students for corporate internships.  She has also developed training programs for the National Able Project.  

Elaine was a consultant for Perrone-Ambrose & Associates, where she supported leadership development initiatives for a nationwide corporate client base by designing and implementing customized, management coaching and mentoring programs.

She has worked as an educational consultant in school districts across the country, representing the Efficacy Institute and the Center for Performance Assessment.

In the corporate arena, Elaine has worked for Xerox and AT&T and has experience in sales, account management, group management and project management.

Elaine teaches career management courses as an adjunct college professor.

She currently serves as the Chairman of the Illinois Technology Foundation - Student Mentoring Program.
